Zi Qian Zhang is a Barrington, Rhode Island-based entrepreneur and commercial real estate developer with more than three decades of experience. He grew up in the mountains of Fuzhou, China, and left school in Grade 4 to begin working in the city. Zi Qian Zhang started working at a takeout restaurant when he emigrated to the United States more than 30 years ago, but he was inspired to start his business after noticing how much more money the owner of the restaurant made than him.

Zi Qian Zhang has owned JZ Real Estate since 2005, during which time he has built up a portfolio of commercial shopping centers with more than 2 million square feet of gross leasable area. He also owns a trampoline park business, which includes 18 parks throughout the Eastern US.

A family man, he has passed on the values of hard work and self-sufficiency to his children. Three of his children work for his trampoline park business, while another two own their businesses. His oldest daughter, Mei, manages a social media management company through which she has helped many businesses increase their revenues.
